About

At Horseshoe Angus Ranch, in partnership with Meacham Land and Cattle, we are committed to raising quality Angus and Angus-cross cattle that work for both commercial and seedstock producers. Every breeding decision is made with the goal of producing functional, profitable cattle backed by sound genetics, excellent dispositions, structural correctness, and strong maternal instincts.
Our cow herd spends the spring, summer, and fall grazing lush irrigated pastures. During the winter months, our cows utilize corn stalks while our steers and heifers thrive on the native desert grasses of Eastern Washington. This practical, real-world environment helps develop cattle that are efficient, durable, and built to perform.
We market our cattle through private treaty sales at the ranch, offering a selection of registered and commercial bulls, replacement heifers, show prospects, and a limited number of feeder cattle each year.
Performance has always been a priority in our breeding program. Our calves consistently produce impressive ultrasound data for carcass merit while maintaining the maternal strength our cow families are known for. We are proud to have raised the Reserve Grand Champion in the Washington Steer of Merit Program, along with numerous other Steer of Merit qualifiers, demonstrating that our genetics excel from the pasture to the feedlot and the show ring.

Horseshoe Angus Ranch is truly a family operation. Our children have grown up showing cattle across the country and are active members of the Junior Angus Association, developing a passion for agriculture and the livestock industry along the way.
In addition to our Angus program, we proudly raise Foundation Quarter Horses, giving us the opportunity to combine two passions that complement one another every day on the ranch.
Our philosophy is simple:
We are cattle people first—with damn good horses.
