Club Calves

In 2022 we AIed cows to both Fur Trader and Red Rocky:

C301 is by an Angus bull and our of our clubby cow Vixen. Vixen, is out of an Angus cow and Loaded for Bear. Kade showed Vixen in fall of 2020 and in 2021. Vixen and Kade placed well at both Benton Franklin and Adams County Fair.

302C is out of Kissy, one of Kade’s Angus cows, and by Fur Trader.

C303 is our first Red Rocky calf, he is out of a red cow that we bought from Mike Corrales to raise clubbies. She is a black sem/red angus cross cow.

C304 is out of Foxxy and by Red Rocky. Foxxy is a Dakota Gold/Angus cow.

C305 is our 5th Red Rocky calf, he is out of a red cow that we bought from Mike Corrales to raise clubbies. She is a black sem/red angus cross cow.

307C is a full sister to two of Kaine’s steers. She is out of a Hereford cow, that is a Times A Wastin daughter and by Fur Trader

We AIed 11 cows to sexed Fur Trader semen, including our beloved Foxxy Cleopatra.

C201 is out of Foxxy, and Fur Trader, he has some cute markings, I guessing that is coming from the Dakota Gold on Foxxy’s side.

C203 is out of a Hereford cow, that is a Times A Wastin daughter SOLD

C204 is a full brother to C103, “Mo,” shown below from 2021. C204 is out of an Angus cow, a Connealy Confidence 0100 daughter. SOLD

C205 is a full brother to 2021 calf, C109. He is out of a Hereford cow, that is a Times A Wastin daughter SOLD

C206 is out of Kade’s Angus cow 202M. 202M is a great cow by BK Danny Boy 908, who is a son of Danny Boy.

C207 is out of Jaxsen’s cow, 201M, who is also a daughter of BK Danny Boy 908. SOLD

We AIed 10 cows to sexed Fur Trader semen, and our beloved Foxxy Cleopatra also had a calf by an Angus bull.

Last but not least, C109, Kaine’s second steer. His name is Sam Stands Alone, he is also by Fur Trader and out of a Hereford cow, that is a Times A Wastin daughter Sam was shown at the Spokane Jr Livestock Show and stood middle of the class.

C107 next, “Chief Rainwater”, is a brother to Kaine’s steers below, Austin and Cupid. Kaine is going to show the Chief. He was born 12/16/20. Chief Rainwater went to the Othello Fair.

Our next Fur Trader calf C103, “Mo,” is also out of an Angus cow, a Connealy Confidence 0100 daughter. Mo was born 12/9/20. Mo is Anna’s. Mo was shown at the Spokane Jr Livestock Show and was 4th overall in Market in 4H.

C101 and C102 are twin bull calves, “Malcom” and “Teal.” They are out of an Angus cow, BK Chiquita 218, she is by a son of Ankonian Equinox and out of a Bon View New Design 1407. They were born November 30, 2020. Yes, one is black and one is a smokey. Malcom (C101) is Anna’s and Teal (C102) is Kade.

Teal (C102) was shown at the Spokane Jr Livestock Show, and was 6th overall in Market in 4H.

Malcom (C101) will go to the Benton Franklin Fair in September.

In our 2020 we continued on with the club calf experiment.

C003, Cupid, is out of a Hereford commercial cow and Loaded for Bear. This is Kaine’s calf.

C005, Cupid, is out of BK Susie 903, a Danny Boy daughter and Loaded for Bear.

006C, Vixen, is out of an Angus cow and Loaded for Bear.

In 2018 we decided we were gong to try raising some club calves for the kids to show.

Austin, is by Fun Manchu and out of a Hereford commercial cow. Autsin was supposed to go to Benton Franklin, but due to COVID, the Benton Franklin Fair was canceled. However, Kaine did take him to some jackpot shows. He was Grand and Reserve champion in showmanhip in several and was a class winner in market.

Next, we have Mr Fatty B, he is out of BK Susie 903, a Danny Boy daughter that is out of BR Frontrange 052 daughter. Mr Fatty B is also by Dakota Gold. He was also supposed to go to Benton Franklin but it was canceled due to COVID. He was show at virual shows and made it to a few jaackpots. He was a great show steer and was Reserve Market a a few.

And Lastly, we have Goldmember, he is out of BK Eriska 917, who is out of an Ankonian Equinox daughter and a Cornhusker cow. Goldmember is also by Dakota Gold. He was also supposed to go to Benton Franklin but it was canceled due to COVID. He was shown at virual shows and made it to a few jackpots. He was a great show steer and was Reserve Market a a few and was Grand and Reserve showmanship at a few.

Club Cows

Foxxy Cleopatra, we decided to raise some club calves for the kids and had one heifer. She is out of registered Angus cow, BK Susie 452. 452 is a fancy cow by S A V Platinum 0010. Platinum was one of the featured AI stud prospects at the record setting 2011 Schaff Angus Valley Sale in ND. He offered one of the largest spreads for birth ratio to weaning ratio of his entire calf crop. Her dam is BK Susie 721, a daughter of B/R Frontrange 052. Foxy’s sire is Dakota Gold, who is a proven game changer that is clean. You will not find a more powerfully made bull that is as clean in his neck and chest as Dakota Gold. If you need to add look, bone, and muscle, then make sure Dakota Gold is on your next semen order. Foxy was born 1/1/19.
