We are really happy that Anna gets to have the experience as the Show Ambassador at the 2024 Spokane Jr Livestock Show.
| Meet our Ambassador! |
![]() Anna Geddes of Connell, Wash. has been selected to represent the Junior Livestock Show of Spokane for the coming year. Get to know a little about her below. Q: Tell us a little about yourself: A: I have been raised on a working registered cattle and horse ranch near Connell. We raise Angus, Herefords, and AQHA horses. From an early age I have been drawn to livestock. I have my own herd of cattle, including a Registered Angus cow from the NILE Merit Heifer Program, as well as a yearling AQHA filly from the AQHA Youth Program. I am planning to attend University of Idaho to obtain an animal nutrition degree and plan to continue to pursue my passion for agriculture, particularly livestock and ranching. I am President of the Connell FFA Chapter and recently served as the Washington Junior Angus Queen and President. Q: How has your life been influenced by your participation in the Junior Livestock Show of Spokane? A: My family is dedicated to raising and showing cattle. My great-grandpa Bill Bennett showed at the Jr. Show when he was a child. My earliest memory is of him telling me I must go to the Jr. Show and compete at one of the most competitive shows in the Pacific Northwest. It has been my goal to compete at the Jr. Show, which I have done since I was 10. This show has helped shape me as an individual and a showperson. |
